This year is the first in the 30 years I have known Chris that his annual letter and Christmas card did not drop through our door on the 1st December. We were so shocked to read this memorial to a true Gentlemen. How we laughed our way through our Paymaster Course and first tours in the job in Germany. I sent an e mail to Diss Salvation Army to find out where Chris had got to - this unexpected news has really knocked us for six. Thoughts go out to all his close friends and relatives.
